Dunlop finally added silent auto off switching in this new pedal (I guess it's newer)
which I always missed in all previous Crybaby wahs. Anyone has one, impressions maybe? http://www.jimdunlop.com/index.php?page=pr...roducts/crybaby -------------------- Youtube

Quote from the manual:
QUOTE There is an intentional delay built into the “auto-off” switching, to allow you to use the full range of the pedal’s travel without turning off the effect or the preset volume boost. This may be the two sided sword, but with some practice it can be good. I had the chance to play couple of gigs with Morley Wah that has auto switching as well (with some delay), and although it worked fine, it's a completely different matter of turning the wah off on the down position instead of up (like with my 535q). I think the auto off function easier to use then the manual switch, but I hope they installed a trim pot inside to adjust the delay time of auto switch, it would be a good feature, since the delay can be tricky sometimes. I think the bass crybaby wah (which also has auto switching) has the trim pot, I'm not sure about this one tho. It looks like a traditional style one, and the manual doesn't says anything about the spring. It may be possible that the spring is not visible on the picture, but I would guess it's without the spring. (spring is cool btw )

It has spring and it works like those Morleys, it comes back (down) and goes off when you remove your foot.
P.S. not the greatest demo but he talks about spring etc. -------------------- Youtube

This Wah is really Uber cool!! Much better than the Cry Baby I have and the volume / tone controls on the side really seem to let you adjust the sweet spot. I might be a little concerned about the noise it adds though, but I'd have to try it to make a concussion. What noise? -------------------- Youtube

It looks exactly same as my Crybaby bass wah, it has a spring and there should be a trim pot hidden in the battery compartment where you can set the delay for auto off. It should go from virtually no delay to a second or more. It gets sometimes annoying (auto off) but with right delay settings it works nicely.

Their is a Part 2 video that he does using a distorted tone. Towards the end of it he comments about some noise that the Volume boost adds. Ohh right, volume boost, just like any other boost, should be careful with it. -------------------- Youtube
