GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Facebook: Convert Your Profile To Page

Posted by: Gabriel Leopardi Sep 21 2012, 03:16 PM

Hi guys! Yesterday I discovered that now it's possible to convert your profile to page at Facebook. I have reached the 5000 friends the last month and I was thinking that this could be a good idea to continue using it.

What do you think?

I may be worth you having a page for you as an artist and then a personal profile for your private life. Unless having two is more hassle than use.

I don't even have a personal profile with friends only a fan page! It is much easier to deal with and you can organize it in anyway you want! smile.gif

My question is biggrin.gif - as i was thinking about this option A LOOONG TIME AGO biggrin.gif Can I also add the people on my page? Or somehow mix the profile and actual page and transform them into a single Artist page?

I don't know too much about this... but since now it's possible to convert a personal profile into a page, I think that the best for us is to start with a personal profile (because you can add friends) and once you reach the limit convert it to a page.

I don't think you can add but you have to have a page to manage your artist profile It is a little confusing but artist page is a very good way to advertise your music! smile.gif

Indeed... Am I too greedy for not wanting to lose part of my ~540 fans on my actual artist page? sad.gif

I was thinking to make an announcement towards them to adhere to the newly transformed one. What do you think?
