In any case lots of possibilities and I figure its quicker to ask what combo's you all like to start with. ~Justin Hey digital - any Pod is a great move! I have the XTL because it does 2 things: 1. Pedals for playing live - but you can get a pedal for yours 2. It controls the patches on my Variax guitar and saves them along with its own sounds, so for me it was a no-brainer. If you don't have a Variax you probably made a good choice. I would encourage you to play with the patches and make up your own - the factory presets are ok, but there is so much more if you play around yourself. Also, the Gearbox program is great for setting up patches using your PC rather than the panel. In addition you can download thousands of patches to get the sound you want, and there are quite a few pod users on this forum who would be happy to share I am sure!
