San Antonio Beef

3 lb beef chuck roast

3 lg garlic cloves; minced

3 tb Worcestershire sauce

3/4 c tomato paste

3 tb cooking oil

2 1/2 c water

2 c onion; finely chopped

1 1/2 c celery; finely chopped

3/4 c green pepper; finely chopped

3 tb vinegar

1 tb Tabasco sauce

2 ts salt

2 ts pepper

Pat the roast dry with paper towels. In a large pot heat oil and brown beef
on all sides. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook for 4 hours,
stirring until the beef is easily shredded. Serve immediately.
