Hi everyone,
Joined in after having a close look at all the lessons the site offers, really impressive in terms of quality and quantity! So props for that!
I am 22 and come originally from Ecuador.
I started playing the guitar 1 year ago, after many years of thinking about it and not doing it.
I have found an incredible passion for the blues via John Mayer and Eric Clapton.
From there, the list is endless, B.B. King, Hendrix, Gary Moore, SRV, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, etc...
After one year of learning alone, I really need to settle myself down to a stable learning pattern instead of finding new songs all the time and try to learn them, and chaging again after 1 day. It has become a vicious circle.
So summing up, I came here to really get down my learnings, scales, neck runs, patterns, and also to get my techniques straight - bending, vibratto, etc...
Wanna learn to play some real blues ala JM with old influences but also with very contemporaneous pop roots.
My gear is basically a Fender Strat Standard (Mex), a Fender Champion 600, and as for overdrive a Keeley BD-2 mod, a Ibanez Tubescreamer TS-808 and a Way Huge Pork Loin.
