You probably heard of this one before: Rhapsody - Unholy Warcry, their stuff has loads of awesome solos. Dark Moor is also a great power metal band so you sure should check them out.

Anything by Blind Guardian, Dark Moor, Rhapsody Of Fire, Luca Turilli, Helloween, Hammerfall, Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius will contain amazing riffs, solo and everything.

Thanks guys i'll check some of these out. The style of metal i like msot is melodic death metal but i'm seeing if i'll like power metal as well. Blind Guardian and Dragonforce i thought were quite good so we'll see.

This is really hard, personally I don´t even think anymore of favourite song, because it depends on what mood I am in,... its just toooo haaaaarrrrrrd!

Since this is quite hard, I´ll just make a short list and pick two songs for each band wink.gif

Manowar - Hail and Kill (or any other song...)
Manowar - Defender
Iron Maiden - The Clairvoyant
Iron Maiden - The Evil that men do
Blind Guardian - Welcome to Dying
Blind Guardian - When Sorrow Sang
Judas Priest - Nightcrawler
Judas Priest - Pain Killer
Running Wild - The Privateer
Running Wild - Bad to the Bone
Helloween - Future World
Helloween - Keeper of the Seven Keys
Hammerfall - The Dragon lies Bleeding
Hammerfall - Hammerfall
Grave Digger - Scotland united
Grave Digger - Rebellion (the clans are marching)
Saxon - Lionheart
Saxon - Crusader

enough for now tongue.gif
