I was actually just gonna show a picture of my new bass, but while I was at it I just took pictures of my other instruments and stuff, so I got the idea to make a picture thread, picture threads are really funny
I'd love to see your gear, CD/DVD collections, posters, band etc. etc.



This is my brand new bass. It costed me redicilously 209 Euro, but it is the ABSOLUTE best bass I have ever played.




This is my lovely guitar. I have put a Stetsbar on it(I recommend it!).




My dads 25 year old American Fender Stratocaster.


My amp, its very old. The sound is very, uhm, "real".


My harmonicas.



My CD collection also got some in the car, so this is not everything.


DVD's.


2x maiden tickets, Oslo Spektrum


My fancy tuner, its very accurate. I highly recommend it.

Yeah the Dime is an amazing guitar, and the ibanez is plays better than a $5000 ESP or jackson By far, its a perfect instrument, and for $550, its not Unattainable ya know

www.stetsbar.com , its a tremolo system that you simply just put it on without drilling or hurting the guitar.

Its a EX-50, I think its the cheapest one
It came with some crappy ltd-pickups. I replaced them with EMGs

btw the guitar is surprisingly good for its price. I think I was really lucky with. And the sound got pretty nice with the EMGs, but not optimal ofcourse because of the wood etc..

Here's a couple pics that I have.

This is one of the guitar that I won and the amp that I bought. They've become an interesting project together.



Before the guitar got shipped, they molested it a bit. Here's a screencap from the myspace page one day.



Here's a pic of what I'd call my "setup" before I started working on learning guitar. My Powerbook and an Edirol PCR-30 and a Guitar Hero controller. I was working on an idea at the time to use the Guitar Hero controller as a MIDI device over USB.

Hey, I'm a 33 year old married man and I'm OK with playing a guitar with some pink on it.

I wasn't trying to win it but I did so I'm working with what I have. Actually, it's a girls' guitar, but the small-ish neck feels pretty good in my hand. I like it. Eventually, it'll get autographed and it'll have to get put away though...then I'll have a replacement ready that'll probably be black too.

This is most of it, a 4x12 is missing which is standing in the rehearsal room. We'll see if I remember to take a picture sometime, used to have a Marshall JCM800 with it but I sold that and use the Peavey Classic 30 (in the pic) with it now instead.

The green guitar is a Charvel which I will mill and fit the DiMarzios in (pic on one of them... belive me, the other looks the exact same). Am waiting for two 500kOhm pots I've ordered and a black sideboard each to attach em too.

Also a picture of my home made pedal board with carry bag (it's a computer case from IKEA and the board is made of particle board, one thing left is to put rubber feet on it. I made two and the others looks exactly the same, pick of it without pedals. The pedals run on batteries except for the Delay which sucks a battery dry in a hour and a half. Same with the Wah, it also runs on power since it too eat batteries.

And a couple of other small stuff.

Dude, get some perspective I understand your pain, but I have found over the years that it is possible to swing both ways ... guitars are beautiful, but girls, well they are cool too, you just need to make room in your life for both - its hard but it can be done ... I think there is therapy that can help.

We're living at my Grandma's house until we find a place to rent here, and of course, I get stuck with the "Disney room"... Oh, well.
