Hello from Milwaukee, WI USA. Typical story - had a guitar since I was a teen attempted to learn it on and off a few times with little success. I'm 25 years old now and decided to try to pick it up again; hopefully more motivated or at least more disciplined his time. My current rig is a Hwy 1 Strat and a Cyber-Champ amp and a brand new Boss DD-20 Delay pedal. I also have a jumbo acoustic/electric fender that just does not sound right ... probably should get it looked at. In the past I had a squire strat that I umm outgrew (If you don't know how you can outgrow a guitar without being able to play much more than 2 or 3 chords don't look at me for the answer). Anyways I use to frequent guitarnoise when I had the urge to try to learn witch I did once more last night and happened across a google ad with a tapping lesson from GMC. I immediately signed up afterwards. I am a electronic engineer by degree a system administrator by profession and plan on going back to grad school but I would gladly give it up to be a rock star ... hell I would settle for any genre Hi Digital addiction welcome! You'll like it here at GMC - the lessons are great and the community is very supportive. I'm a Computer Consultant, still waiting for my chance at Fame - I think there is something about working with computers that makes us better musicians -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

because the chicks dig it ... I dunno probably just to keep things in life balanced between the tech/science and art/culture etc... Even though I get to go to work in jeans and a t-shirt I still don't like being a suit. I could see myself doing my own thing down this route; even if its not being a rock star . Stuff like writing software or designing circuits for guitarists or musicians in general has always been something I considered doing. Hey, if you are that way inclined, check out writing VST effects and instruments for recording software - I started looking at this myself recently and it is absolutely fascinating! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
