What's up guys, I got a new axe about a month ago. I finally got around to taking some pictures of her. She's has a AA Desertburst finish, 2 burstbuckers, straplocks, and a slimmer 60's neck. For a Les Paul it's very light and manages to sustain for days. My blues playing skill has increased substantially due to the amount of feeling you get with these guitars. Super chunky... The neck is nice and slim, I have a Gibson SG with a 50s neck - I prefer the slimmer 60s neck - easier for sweeping ect...

Anyways...

I'm not sure if it has a 'darker' tone per say. It has a lot of character, indicative of a Les Paul. Really what shines through about this axe is the sustain. It's unbelievable. A lot better than my SG I'd say... Of course the price difference was over a grand hahah. You know those screaming notes Gary Moore does? It's the Les Paul man (and gobs and gobs of gain smile.gif)

I bought the exact same one about 2 months ago...

Sustain is indeed unbelievable, if you hit a note and go for a coffee, it's still ringing when you come back biggrin.gif

I think desertburst is one of the best colors, has a lot of character.

Lucky you =) Does it have the black finish on the back of the neck and the back of the guitar?
How much did you have to drop on it?
