> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Pentatonic Substitution Lesson by Muris Varajic

Here is my second take. This lesson strangely enough has been more difficult for me than the Mojo Oro series. There are so many slides that I can possibly mess up. I hope you will like this one better smile.gif Thanks for comments..

PS: I know I messed up the note at 0:08 biggrin.gif

Hey Mert!

I don't know if it's 8 or 9 tongue.gif It actually is 8.5, but since you are very hardworking dude and this lesson is tricky, I will say 9. Now, focus on anticipating the moves man, this lesson has increased dynamic in comparison with the Mojo Oro 1 for instance, which gave you time to get used to a pattern. In shorter words, there's less time to breathe here smile.gif

Let's rock!

Cosmin

You did a very good job! It is a tricky lesson and you still need to work on it to make it sound perfect!
When you are going to the fast part your timing is a little off and you missed some notes so practicing it at a slow tempo will help!

Yo Mert, this one is an improvement over your first take. It looks like a tricky lesson to play with all those slides.

You absolutely nailed that AP pentatonic lick ! wink.gif

The slides are still hit and miss and some co ordination issues on the licks that come after the AP part but a definite improvement smile.gif
