I think I've heard of him. Is this the guy that released the album as both video and audio? You get 2 CDs one with normal songs and another one where he is playing the whole album in this room.

Sun Caged that he plays in is a progressive metal band, in regards to being a Petrucci fan. And it's a very good band too. I can recommend it.
