hey guys, during summer days, I'm always eating some sallads, so here's one recommendation for you, and if you have some, feel free to share it, I'm always up for a new one! smile.gif

This is very simple one, it involves cucumber, sour cream, garlic and parsley! smile.gif It's refreshing, and draws roots from similar Greek salad (Tzatziki)

This one on the picture involves shrimp too, so you if you like sea food, feel free to add biggrin.gif

No, I can't stand them... however I love tomato soup and Italian food. I don't mind things with bits of tomato in but I cannot handle the taste of a lone tomato smile.gif

OK, another suggestions coming up, this is the stuff I usually eat (or combinations, based on what meat and veggies I have atm in the fridge)

Caesars salad

Green salad
Chicken (or something else that you have)
Bread (old bread, fried with meat is great)
Dressing (whatever you can find, for me it's usually sour cream, mustard, little of mayo, pepper, salt etc..)
Onion & garlic (if you prefer, it is awesome to put some garlic in the dressing)

PS We get our veggies straight from the garden too! smile.gif

I have a small herb garden on my window sill and a veggie garden in my backyard with romaine lettuce, tomato, red & green peppers, carrots, onion and some potatoes. I also have a few Strawberry and raspberry plants. There is nothing better than having a salad with fresh veggies out of your own garden, or dishes made with fresh herbs. The flavors are amazing. I do a lot of cooking so just having to walk outside for fresh ingredients is great.

As for salad this is one of my favourites

it is a Berry Spinach salad. I make my own dressing and the flavors in this are amazing. Sometimes I add blueberries as well. But I'm a big salad eater and seeing as it is BBQ season I have one almost every night. I like making my own dressings though as can keep the calories down smile.gif
