Oops! Broke It Again.

Jan 17 2010, 03:30 PM	Veteran Guitar Lord Posts: 2.381 Joined: 2-May 09 From: Kathmandu	I was practicing Muris's Steve Lukather style lesson and I was really feeling it and building up the confidence that finally I am really able to play with power. The bends were really helping me on my finger strength and as I continued practicing the bends, I broke the first string. Oh NO! I don't really break strings.. this is like the second time while playing. I wanted to post a REC but looks like that will have to postpone a bit. Need to put on the new set tomorrow. BTW, should I try a 10 gauze string on Ibanez floyd rose? I think it defaults to 9 so not sure if 10 will work. Any users? You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick. I tried to increase Bass / decrease treble in the amp and what not but it still feels weak so I think I will try the 10s, if it doesn't bend the neck. I have a cracked neck. Its now doing justice to my guitar and amp. Had to struggle a bit setting up the FR but its good now. Cheers all!! I have leave this baby for 2 weeks now.. hope it doesn't rust when I get back. For the bending.. my fingers are very weak indeed. I wish I had the power (which is coming slowly).
