Hello friends! Welcome to our new collaboration!!
This time I've recorded a backing in the style of Nirvana, and our founder and rockstar Kristofer Dahl is already working on totally amazing lyrics and vocals. I'm impressed of the first demo he's just sent me. Number of downloads: 436Tempo: 160 bpm Key and Scale choices: Intro: The intro is based on a riff with power chords: F#5 - C5 - F#5 - C5 - F#5 - C5 - A5 Verse: The verse is based on the same riff than the intro played by the bass. Chorus: B5 - D5 - A5 -C5 Solo section: I recorded a reference solo. The backing is the same than the verse. So you can record you own ideas over the verse or jamtrack. The best scale for this progression which is based on a minor mode of F# is this one:  However you could also experiment with F# blues scale trying to avoid staying too much on the 5th (C#):   IF YOU NEED HELP TO USE ALL THIS INFO LET ME KNOW! I'M HERE TO GUIDE YOU. IMPORTANT INFO About files required: In order to make the things easier for compiling takes and mixing I need that each participant shares 3 files: - Audio file with the mix of the backing and your guitar. - Audio file only with your guitar (If possible this audio should have the same length than the mix version) - Video of you playing the solo, and if it's not possible a picture. (Mp4 format if it's possible) The best way to share this is compressing in a zip file to be downloaded from here or using sharing service as dropbox, wetransfer, and copying the link here. If you decide to share your files using soundcloud please remember to "allow downloads".
