Well, I've been trying to play some sort of complete song, with all the parts, riffs, verses, chorus, solo, etc, etc. But I'm having trouble finding songs I can play all the way through- Smoke on the Water, and Smells Like Teen Spirit. I need a song that doesn't have much legato, sweeping, or tapping, I can do a little bit of that but I'm not good at it enough but not enough to play an actual song at this point. I'm quite picky tongue.gif . It has to be hard rock or metal too. I've got to like it to want to play it. So if any of you have any songs that would fit my description... this is becoming as much as a challenge as one of those "play this solos things." Sorry about that. mellow.gif

Thanks.

Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!)
Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :)
Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker)
Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!)

Jump in the Fire by Metallica is an easy song except for the final guitar solo.

Ace of Spades by Motorhead, a classic smile.gif

Also, whole lotta rosie ACDC and other ACDC songs could be great.

AC DC songs - Thunderstruck , Hard as a rock , Wholla lotta Rossie , Let there be rock , You shook me all night long...

Metallica - Nothing else metters, Unforgiven (first part)

If you are into Offspring they have bunch of power chord type playable songs with cool riffs.

Also G'N"R if that's what gets you going learn Welcome to the jungle, Paradise city, Sweet child of mine solo etc

Hope this helped you a bit smile.gif
