Hey mate! The rhythm playing is almost perfect in the first part, which is of course an improvement in doing justice to your compositions! In the second part though you are delayed in respect to the drum track - please focus on fixing this, as it's a pity not to have the track at full potential..It's very catchy and melodic!

Very nice song - I think it has a lot of potential! smile.gif

On a first listen these are the details that catch my ears :

* Drums are a bit too repetitive and not always compliment the other instruments playing wise
* Guitar would need to match the groove and timing of the drums tighter for a stronger impression
* Lead lines are cool, watch out for balance between strong notes (chord tones) and ones that make tension for a nice balance.

I like the transition to second part where atmosphere gets more open and quiet. An idea : try lowering amount of effects (flanger for example) from the rhythm based guitars - that should help you get a more tight rhythm/sound.

Appreciate the feed , Ill go back and correct a few things , uhm when you mentioned the 2nd part were you referring to the part before the "Ambient delayed stuff" or during the end section ?

THanks Bogdan am working on a software that enalbles me to use my ez drummer so I can stop using the repetitive drum patterns that I have now = ) Regarding Lead Lines and balancing out chord tones and tones that give off tension that I think is a reallly important technicality to have ... been searching for some videos here n there about chord tones would love to learn more regarding stuff like this

Hey mate - the delay part starts in flawed timing most probably even before the drum track kicks in. It is most easily felt when the drums are there though. Have you recorded against a click track and then removed it from the final mix? I mean in the part where there's only the guitar.

As Cosmin said sync the delay tempo to the track bpm if you can.

I had to stop listening at that point it made my ears cry.

I like the rest of it, and agree with Bogdan about lowering the effect on the Rhythm guitar to make it more focussed.

The concept is good, but the rhythm guitar at the start sounds a little muddy and lacks clarity for me. What amp sim or amp are you using?

As it usually happens with your compositions, the song is amazing! there are many different cool feelings and atmospheres there. But your timing is a problem in most of the song. I would like to ask two questions:

1. Are you sure that you are not having latency issues when you record?
2. Can you note that timing issues that we are talking about?

Can't wait to hear a tight version of this nice tune! smile.gif

Very good questions here - never thought if the issue here is a technical one smile.gif
