I just wrote and recorded this song... its done on acoustic guitar and has vocals but it is intended to be changed for a full band and have electric guitars and distortion for the chorus.

the vocals are kept quiet and breathy, but with the full band there will be added "grrrrrrr" as ive heard it been described... if you have listened to any of my other songs, youll know what i mean tongue.gif

Verse-1
Sometimes I can see, through empty words
though hidden, can lead me
astray from danger, through the darkness
waiting for the next time we come

Build Up
closing in, its alright again,
this time we can break the cycle
we can stop it from starting again
together, united we stand
pushing harder, just understand

Chorus
Wait, for the first time it disapears
they hide beyond the stars
the way these words seem so severe
just wait for another
day, theres no more conversations
no theres no more complications
this day we shall break the cycle
or walk away

Verse-2
your eyes have changed, to match the soul
screaming past, the crowded rooms
so stop the tricks and slow the time
what has gone cannot be mine
the seeds of life, shall carry on
breaking through the crack of dawn
now i see through shades of grey
know that we can stop them

id love to hear your thoughts on the song and just so you know it isnt finished yet tongue.gif there is going to be an ending on it instead of the abrupt stop lol
the lyrics stand to change too, but you get the idea smile.gif

I could see you writing some songs that could be very popular.

Keep doing what your doing. Your songwriting ability is really good.

Just keep making awesome music biggrin.gif

Your voice sort of reminds me that dude from R.E.M. biggrin.gif Hope, that doesnt offend you, since I like his voice much:)

I liked the recording and sound as well - I would just maybe tone the presence up for the guitar. But thats just cosmetic and also depends on listener smile.gif

Very good job as always smile.gif

Dude, you know I have always liked your stuff and this is just great! If you were to record this tune in a studio with some engineering, imo, you could send this to some radio stations as a demo and get some airplay.. smile.gif
