I'd heard about those (actually read about them in the news). I'll try a set when they're available. Seems cool to me.

That's impressive. I would like to try them myself. One thing I would have liked to see in the video would be the actual setup and whether or not all the saddles could actually be set the same in a line across the bridge and have the intonation stay correct as he stated in the vid starting at about 4:28. In any case it was obvious that there was a marked improvement in strings staying in tune together when dropping and raising the bar which really impressed me and I could find beneficial. Thanks for sharing, Phil.
For all of us geeks that like to know how things works I found this detailed explanation in the video description on YT. http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0184803

I've just asked him. Here is his reply
Thanks Phil, Glad you liked the video :-) Yes, i should have mentioned about the saddles a little more - I forgot. Sorry! In answer, they are as I mentioned in a pretty much perfectly straight line. The intonation seems fine like that. It's very cool. It will save a hell of a lot of time on guitar set-ups that's for sure! Best P.
