Being the total newguy that I am to the whole guitar world, I was wondering if someone could link me a good quality tuner that would help me get my electric guitar in tune - fast. If you could link me to one on GuitarCenter.com that would be an amazing help!

I use this. Takes me no longer then a minute to tune and it has a built in mic that picks up the sound on your guitar. smile.gif

i use this one:

it's not too expensive and it's a pedal, so it makes it's easier to tune quickly between(or during) songs if you're playing live.

That is the same one I use as well. It does all I need and the price was right. Luckily I have a nephew that works at guitar center and I can get really good deals every once in a while.

Had a guitar hanging, just about waist high, and we are going to play these things until the day we die.

I use the chromatic version of this. Good stuff.

Oddly, after I got the tuner, I noticed that my amp (Peavey Transformer 112) has a built in tuner. It's still faster and easier with the Korg....just turn it on and set it on top of the amp.
