GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ David Wallimann On Youtube Is Awesome!

Posted by: kaznie_NL Jun 13 2010, 05:30 PM

Hey guys!

I'm keeping track of David Wallimann's youtube channel and I believe he deserves a thread in the forum at least! I'm not sure why he and GMC splitted ways, but he shows that he is a fenomenal guitarist again:

Crying - Satch

And this is really cool, a new song, and I gues it's because of the birth of a person called Luna:

Man, I dig that Luna song,

Don't believe too much what they say about "technique is not important"

I love his phrasing

I also keep track of him he is an amazing player ... Wish He was still around GMC !

i think now he is doing lessons for JamPlay.com or something like that ..

He quit at GMC, not sure of the reason, but for some reason he wasn't accepted as instructor any more wink.gif Now you can still check him on Jamplay

Hey, it's nice to hear David again, I recognize his tone and style always smile.gif

Hi he plays one of my favourite Satch songs, as great as always.

For what its worth I think that GMC has lost a lot since David left. Not only is he a good guitarist but I thikthat his presence on the forums was a little of the heart and soul o GMC things aint quite the same now.

Well, seems like he started his own website...I think he was a great instructor here at GMC, but since he left we could welcome quite a bunch of new great instructors here.

I miss him, too. He has his recognisable tone, and his phrasing is simply amazing. I'm not sure why he left, but I think he found a good 9-5 job... can anyone confirm that?
