Hi Gab

Ok I'll try to use my foot to follow the tempo....

Good. Closing your eyes and focusing on groove is also a good trick to feel it.

Hi Gab

I listened to your advice, it is not easy to play as Became Siniza but I tried to have a cooler play....
I think, it 's better that my first video.. Gibson has string 11/52, it is not easy but I like the tone

What do you think about it ?
I' can to post it on the workshop ?

Hi MisterM! Great to find news from you!

Your take on this lesson is really good! You are playing the licks very tight and with a nice and natural feeling. It's not an easy task with this type of lessons. The good thing about the lesson is that Sinisa's feeling seems endless so you'll always find some more room to keep on making this take better by listening to his playing and trying to emulate his vibrato and dynamics. I don't mean loosing your personality by copying, but I think that you can take your technique and expression to a new level by emulating a bit his approach to feeling while phrasing.

By the way, you doing a really good work with this one. Keep on rocking!

PS: And feel free to share the take in other threads (for example REC) for getting more feedback. wink.gif

Hi Gab

I work everyday on the Stephane Lucarelli's Lesson : creative arpeggios
It's very difficult to progress... day after day my playing become better but I must work and work again for polish (smooth) it.

Today I did a REC, the few secondes before the REC show my difficulty to realise arpeggios,
I play sweeping for warm-up.....

I know, it is not completely in the rhythm, but I wanted to show you the current result.

What dou you think about it, and tone ?

Hi MisterM! Good playing here! The warming up arpeggios are not very connected with the rhythm and also show sync issues that makes some part sound unclear but then, when the lesson starts, your playing is smoother and only shows some little cleanness issues, while the overall is really good.

Regarding the tone, I only think that it's lacking some presence. I like the sustain that it has.

Hi Gab

I work on the Room335 by Larry Carlton, I work the Jess Lewis's version
There are some licks has to decompose to end the piece.
I often play before beat, I again have to work to improve it.

What do you think about it?

Hi MisterM! I really enjoyed this video! Your playing is very good on most of it. It's true that there are some licks close to the end that could sound more consistent but the overall is very good. I also like the overall video quality (audio and video), it looks very professional.

Good job!

Hi Gab,

I am happy to read your positive comment.
In a few months, I hope to play before so much intensity as this great guitarist " Jess Lewis "
Her version is really magnificent, I like its vibrato and its groove.

My vidéo show my limit about speed. On the other hand, for 3 years which I play seriously, I find that I progressed.
GMC gave me this envy to surpass me, I know that I shall be a great guitarist in a few years.... tongue.gif

I play the guitar since I am 15 years old.
My father taught me bases, but my practice was never regular.

When I was 25 years old I stopped learning.
I played in the evening for my children simple songs.

I began again to learn new techniques in 41 years.

Oh yeah, that sounds reasonable now. Your playing looks mature and this is because you have been connected to music and guitar for many years. I also think that you will have a very good level in some more time if you keep on with this diary practice. Your playing is already really good and promising.

Hi MisterM! This is another proof of your great playing!

You can play all these amazing licks really tight and clean. I don't find any problem about technique and timing. There are only two really small details that you could improve:

- Dynamics: I feel that there are some notes that could be picked stronger to give licks a more accentuated feel.

- Tone: More presence could make your solo sound clearer and more defined.

Other than that, this is a great take. Congrats!

Hi MisterM! Fantastic play on these two lessons!

The creative arpeggios sound so sweet. I love your groove, dynamics and tone on it. Your playing is very smooth and enjoyable. I don't think that there is anything else to fix. Your playing is magic.

The funk lesson is also sounding very well, and I think that the only part that still could be more defined is the staccato funky phrasing which is not bad but can be tighter and more accentuated. But this is just a small detail, you work is great!

Congrats on your playing. smile.gif

Thank you Gab,
When I listen the original Lesson, I'm not proud of my REC....
However, I don't any more want to work it.
Think you that I can submit itto the workshop?

I agree with you about the lesson Funk, the saccato is not enough tightened, I again have to work it.
I am going to insist on this lesson to finalize it.

I also work Off Beat Boogie, this lesson is magnificent.
I had difficulty about the finger picking, actually I'm able to play the rhythmic and the solo at 100 % speed

I hope to make a video tomorrow, you will say to me what you think of it
