Thanks for sharing Ben. Some really nice pics in there!
Being from the southern Hemisphere, Winter in the North really freaks me out! My mind just cant comprehend why the beautiful outdoors has turned into a giant freezer! Such cold belongs in my freezer to keep my ice cream cold! cool.gif
Sometimes though, there is a lot of beauty in it, as these pics definitely show.

Definitely some seriously cold conditions that people have to cope with. I saw some article about the world's coldest village, somewhere in Russia but I can't find it now... smile.gif

That's gotta be Oymyakon..it's about -71 Celsius now.Average january temp. of -50° Celsius...500 brave people live there
under apocalyptic circumstances.

I do wonder if these people suffer gradual skin damage over time ? They are amazing to cope with that lifestyle.
