I saw Arch Enemy live, my parents thought it was a dude becuase of the growling vocals GÅTE IS AWESOME! Its a norwegian Folk/rock/metal band with an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SINGER! But real folk is awesome too, just ordered a norwegian folk CD. Also, a little while ago we played on this "talent show". There was a Russian folk band playing there. 1 grown up guy, wich was the teacher, he played this weird bass. And the rest was SMALL KIDS playing, uhm.. Instruments that I dont know the name of in English >_< anyway, they played PERFECT and it was sooooo cool. I think I was the only one that actually enjoyed the music there. I just cant stand it when people are making heavy versions of, well yes, folk in this case. Death metal isn't really my preferred genre of music, but they're a little more diverse than that, and the music is solid Plus, they're all female, which makes for some very interesting vocals and definitely makes them unique.
