> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Nico!

This is getting better!! Some comments about this one:

- The riff section still needs some timing adjustment. You tend to rush tempo a bit. Try to practice this over the original lesson or Guitar Pro file for some minutes every day.

- Your guitar is tuned now, but I still hear pitch issues when you play on higher frets and strings. Maybe your guitar needs some calibration or your strings are too old?

- Polish the connection at 00:28 (That bend is a bit our of pitch and the silence is not natural there.

- The micro bends are still not there. For example the one at 00:35, I can say that this one should be between 1/4 and 1/2. Please compare it with the original take and work over it if it's necessary.

YEAH! Now we're talking!

In addition to Gab's comments, I would like to encourage you to start using your foot to tap the rhythm. Once you have got that down, you should strive to lock your right hand with the foot. This is a killer foundation for tight rhythm guitar.

Keep it up - you get an 8 from me!

Your single note work on this is quite good imho and you clearly understand the piece which is a very good thing. Also I can tell you are enjoying yourself which is crucially important. Your timing overall is solid but you do rush a bit here and there as was mentioned. Without repeating what's already been said I would like to add that your single finger vibrato, done with the first finger, is a bit more shallow and rapid. The vibrato done with three fingers is more controlled and deeper. Try to make your single finger vibrato sound just like your 3 finger vibrato. The listener should not be able to tell the difference ideally. Overall, well done! Solid 7 from me!!
