Would you go for a 6 string or go all out and get 7 string?

If you're a 7 string player no point in getting a 6 string, and the other way round. I'm not planning on playing super low stuff, so no need for additonal string.

I have not yet felt the need for 7 strings, though I am sure the day will come. It seems I can get everything out of a 6 string (heavy riffs, long runs etc).
