Way off topic (except maybe that Eat Me Drink Me is more guitar-oriented than your usual MM album) but I'm going there anyway.

The Heirophant posted the Manson interview in Rolling Stone, in which he said the following....

"So, if i want to go dig a hole and bury my genitals in it, that doesn’t mean she dug the hole."

Maybe MM is a fan of Kris. biggrin.gif

Yeah. Actually, they have the whole thing streaming on the MM MySpace page since Thursday or so (I can't get there from where I am to make sure the link's correct so I'm not posting it).

It's interesting. A lot less keyboard/electronics this time around. Since Skold does a lot of that himself and seems to have the producing credit as well as guitar and bass. With the speed that this album got done and the lack of keyboard/electronics presence I'm wondering what the status of MWG is.

From a guitar PoV (not that I'm an expert), there's a lot more guitar in it. Every song pretty much as a full guitar solo in it. They're interesting. A lot more complex than the old days with Daisy but not in a scary fast way. Lots of feel. I'd like to see what a better guitarist than me thinks of it though.

Eh. I've seen them live 6 or 7 times since 1995 or so and I turned out alright. I don't even wear much black.

Oddly enough, as time goes by, their shows get more tame. No blood, fire and chickens like the old days. Still an entertaining show though.

Burrying Manson's genitals is probably like stabing Superman with a knife - it'll be like massage for him. I guess I have to aknowledge defeat... sad.gif tongue.gif

Isn't Rolling Stone Magazine the one that came up with that totally ridiculous list of "The Top 100" guitarists?
