AWESOME!!!! smile.gif I"m always banging on about it Video Chat "Stay Loose". It really is one of the BIG secrets to precision. And speed is really just a byproduct of precision smile.gif Using the entire arm, "Picking from the elbow/shoulder" can actually reduce the precision and thus put a limit on speed. Very glad the tips are helping!!

Having a point/edge on your pick is something I find VERY helpful when Alternate Picking. The tip/point being sharp reduces the amount of lag/drag on the pick itself when alternating and traversing strings smile.gif

If you have not tried them, there are many options to choose from!

Dunlop Sharps
Jazz III and Jazz III XL
(My Fav) V-pick Switchblade (Buffed and BLACK Unbuffed)
