I'm sure it is a great guitar and all, but that is good used automobile kind of price. I can say without a doubt that I will never own one. ...unless there is a contest or something and I get VERY lucky.

Yeah, it's a beautiful guitar and everything, but I think that something like that - unfortunately - is meant to be collected and put in a case rather than played. The other day I was in Guitar Center and they had an exact replica Strat of SRV's, and they wanted $17,000 for it. That's right: 17 grand. Pretty absurd.

Bottom line, I just don't think that you really get anymore guitar-wise past a certain price.
