Out Of Phase Wiring

Hi! I have a question about guitar wiring. I'm running 2 PAFs and the more I read, the more I want to experiment. I really want to try out the out-of-phase thing but following a regular schematic will be very tough in my case. Is it possible to connect the whole humbucker to a switch (DPDT) and solder the signal wire that is supposed to come out of it to the toggle switch? Originally, the signal wire would be soldered into the toggle and the other wires into the switch but that won't work for me. And if yes, which pickup should be connected to the switch, if that matters?

Need A Recording Set-up

Hi GMC-ers! I already asked about it but I've saved up and need to make my decision ASAP. My guesses are Steinberg, Presonus and Focusrite, as for DI boxes. But if it's possible to use SM57 with a console mixer, then it's my preferred choice. Can it work that way with one of the USB mixers? I'm getting fluent at Audacity and I don't need anything for digital processing.

I just want something I can plug in to and not worry about outdated drivers and configuration, so I can start some serious recording. I recently graduated from Uni and time-wise, I can do it now My brother released two solo albums to YT, as I accidentally found out and i don't want to stay behind.

Hurricane In Texas

My gaming friends from Texas messaged me two days ago that they got a hurricane alert sent to them and yesterday evening they wrote that they are okay. They said there were no casualties confirmed but people were injured instead. And the power lines in some regions were apparently damaged, cutting off the electricity. I'm happy to hear that nobody got killed!!! Property damage can be repaired but human lives can't be restored. Years ago, I learned about an organisation named Music for Relief that, as far as I know does fundraising with help of bands like Linkin Park to help the people who suffered from the hurricanes etc. The world needs more people willing to offer selfless help like this
