Hey,

Is it possible for you to upload two more backing tracks for the lesson, in 100bpm and 110bpm?

It would be really great dude.

Anyway thanks!

Unfortunately I don't have the project file, only backings.
Perhaps you can slow it down using your player? smile.gif

You can slow it down using almost any media player, WMP, VLC, KM etc.
Now problem is that is slows down in percentages, it cannot see or hear tempo
so you can slow it down at 80% per example, 100% is full speed.
This means that you probably won't be able to aim at specific tempo in bpm
but you can get very close tho. smile.gif

Wouldn't that result in a difference in the sound as well? Like... when you speed up/slow down somebody's voice, which makes it higher or lower in pitch?

Maybe, depends of a player,
some older players might change the pitch as well.
Try KM player, shift and +/- will speed it up or slow it down,
pitch stays the same but if you slow it down too much
you might get clicking and popping since it's audio and not Midi,
you would need some better elastic stretching tool to slow it down 50% or som. smile.gif

I'm not really in for slowing things down at the moment, I just thought I'd pop in with the question. If I do it in either VLC player or Media player I think it seems to change pitch.

Yeah, I just tried to slow it down in those 2 players but couldn't find controls. biggrin.gif
Do you mind telling me controls?

Actually VLC player works, I just found out smile.gif At least on this X files episode.

The slow-down function is just those small ">>" and "<<" at..."time line"?

Yeah, pretty obvious commands on the spot. biggrin.gif
But there you can only slow it down like 50%,
try KM, you can go down or up speed by 5%. wink.gif
