I'm sure many of you have seen this already..

I haven't really listened to shred guitarists for years but lately I've been very inspired by Michael's precision, speed and the the idea of no limitations. I watch some of his videos now and then to remind myself what is possible.



My kind of belief is that we already have the ability inside us, we just have to uncover it. The only way to uncover it as by keeping practising.

I see it as a big block of rock, which contains a brilliant sculpture underneath. To get at the sculpture we have to keep chopping away at the rock until the sculpture starts to emerge

Also, even if we sometimes practice and don't see any progress for a while.. it doesn't matter. Just the act of practising is chopping away at the rock !
