However, watch the clip with the sound turned off, and you'll see that he only just makes 15 pick strokes in the same time frame. So yes, he only manages 15 pick strokes for every 20 notes that ring out. In other words, he is only actually picking 3/4 of the notes that he claims to be doing, in a (supposedly) 'Alternate Picking' World Record. So, after all the fancy build up, internet videos, and stage show he put on for the "world record" attempt, he is only actually picking at barely 15 nps.
