Pefect Interval + # = Aug Interval Aug + # = Major interval Major+ # = Aug if i continuo add' i will only get major or aug intervals and i though, well Aug + b = Perfect. but if we are "here" Pefect Interval + # = Aug Interval Aug + # = Major interval Major+ # = Aug <--- b it's gonna become Major, and i was like, hum okay so Aug can give birth to but perfect and imperfect intervals. and came the conclusion that in this case i would need to add bbb (=) Aug+bbb. is this correct? If you increase the aug interval by a semitone, you'll get a double aug. (Source = Musician's Institute, Guitar Fretboard Workbook) I'd just assume an aug interval to mean anything larger than a perfect interval or a major interval.
