But I think you need to add some more information to it.
Like the fact that Blackmore has partial scallop (AFAIK) on the lower frets, to aid in chording. Means that the frets are divided into a scalloped and a non-scalloped part.

nice topic for an article, think you could of got a fair bit more in there though (bit late now ofc), theres the vibrato aspect of scallpoing frets etc
