I know the feel and it's surely frustrating but there's no need to say
that you'll NEVER again practicing unplugged, ofc it's good to be able to practice plugged but after a while you'll find it less confusing and problematic, don't worry. I found that when I record without headphones, it tends to get right. But with headphones on, although it seems like playing on times, its always ahead. How could that be? weird...Headphones vs. speakers shouldn't be that much of an issue unless you don't have a fine mix!
