Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Great take Diego! I would suggest for the future to make you guitar a little louder in the mix, especially when there is other instrument in the backing track, that plays a unison with the guitar smile.gif

I had a feeling that at the beginning the is some sort of sync issue between guitar and backing track but the further you go, the more precise it sounds and from the middle of the take, things become really tight. Great job!

Hi Diego,

Well done! Your playing is killer on this one. I can see that you are comfortable with this type of neoclassical playing.

Besides Darius comments regarding some little sync issue and the mix I'd like to add that if would be good for your playing to get used to do smaller left hand fingers movements. This is not affecting your work on this take but I think that it can be an issue when trying to play faster stuff. It's always better to economize movements.

Other than that this is a great take, keep on rocking.

We're obviously giving you 'pro tips' here as you pretty much master this difficult lesson.

I also reacted on the finger movement which might be a bit big - however when done for the right reason, I think it is acceptable:

I would personally advise you try play to this one at a slower tempo without any picking at all. And this will require more from your legato technique. I always practice this way when I have something technically difficult to learn, it seems to add an additional layer of comfort and tone - which is exactly what you need in the beginning of this track, to perfect the timing.

However even if you are striving for a powerful left-hand-only technique, you should also strive to minimize and relax your left hand motions as you progress.
