Yeah what I'm doing is playing with Ben's recording. But when I record myself I don't play over the original lesson. Should I? Another lesson would be great. Anything really. Hey mate!
I super love the riffage and this piece definitely takes my mind to Audioslave or Rage Against the Machine, two of my favorite bands. I think that you should go for a more thematic solo at the end tho, in order to make the song complete, alongside some vocals  Can you sing? I would develop a solo based on some of the riffs - why not take the main riff and transform it into a single note line and then maybe harmonize it with some intervals here and there? It would most definitely stay in the listener's mind for a long time, if you are to ask me  Now, I would surely be curious to hear Ben's lesson recorded by you over the original version - and I am sure that listening to that recording could help you figure some things out in respect to interpretation, so that you may get as close as possible to Ben's rendition - deal? Now, about another lesson Hmmm, I was thinking about a lead lesson that combines more techniques and of course, relies on articulation What do you think about this one? -> https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Bendin...Friedman-Style/ I learned this style of bends some years ago and it proved a very valuable tool in respect to articulation control, so I think it can help you too! Hey Cosmin!
I recorded another take for Bending From Outside Notes. I tried to focus on the pitch rather than vibrato in the first part, where I had trouble. Of course I didn't manage to do them both at the same time. I'll practice this part specifically. https://soundcloud.com/amitaik/54-to-55-7 And the exercise sounds good! So bending the 12th fret on the 2nd string half a step, hold for a few seconds, vibrate for a few seconds, then another half a step to make it a full step, and again hold, vibrate. But what do you mean by a third? third of a step? Not familiar with this .Thanks!
