Instructor Help On Solo, break free solo Options

well here i am again lol ...I have been working on writeing this solo for like three weeks now..This is the best it has gotten so far........I dont know to me it seems to be falling apart and lacks somthing.....I do know the timeing is a bit of a issue at the moment....But in due time that can be worked out.....I was wondering if anyone had any sugestions in maybee mode changes......to give the solo more feeling......I have gone thru the guitar grimoire book of modes and scales like 5 times and....still cant seem to find any good feeling scales................maybee im just going about the solo all wrong as well.............help lol cause im starting to drown here ......I call it the break free solo cause im trying to get my own style of playing solos

Don't beat yourself up man, this sounds pretty good my friend.

Try some more bends...be creative add some tapping here and there, some crazy legato slides, hammer ons.... go crazy. Music is supposed to be fun, don't confine yourself into scales and modes just do what you feel.

Over all man, this sounds very good to me!

thank you very much for your kind words.......the backing track is one i found free on the net at some wierd site to buy a backing track cd......it was a free download but i liked the groove so i put some time into it... like ten thousand takes it seems.......welll my girlfriend just said ten thousand and twenty to be exact lol.. just trying to get my fingers to catch up to my pic hand for scale runs......due to the fact of playing way to much speed metal and power cords..in my younger years.... learn ten power cords get a lightning fast pick hand and you can play any early 80s metal or death metal song out there... thanks for listening and shareing you input with me..........take care and see you around
