So I'm sitting here watching the other guitarst in my band record take after take of solo... ever wanted to punch your bandmates and say "GET IT RIGHT!"? XD

Granted it took me forever to get my solo done too... tongue.gif

Aw, that is really stressy (for both parts). Sometimes it's better to move on to something else and get back to the solo later. smile.gif

agreed to that. Most of the times a very good take comes on the very first tries.

If a musician takes forever to record a take it probably means it's not been internalized enough or he doesn't have the skill for it and probably is better to change the part.

If I tell him to maybe change it... he might slap me XD

I think we finally got it, though. However I'll remember the stuff about the first takes, never thought of it like that before.

I agree on the first take part.

Eventually after several attempts of getting it right the solo might sound "Slacky."

Meaning that it doesnt have the "power" that you really put into it the first time you play it.

Well good luck anyhow! smile.gif
