Hey guys,

Just need some feedback about this composition. I'm going to bed now... Just an outline of the intro for a very smooth piece in Am (opens in some kind of C major chord xD).

Haven't added any lead or melody yet, just an opening sequence of building harmonies.

A quick reminder - the last file (following the "EDIT" in bold) is the most recent one, in case you download the first one and laugh prematurely at my incompetence. smile.gif

Merry Christmas

Attached File  Tranquil_Equilibrium.gp5 ( 14.84K ) Number of downloads: 217

EDIT: Uploaded second version (2) - fixed marker error and bass (less is more)
Attached File  Tranquil_Equilibrium_2.gp5 ( 13.64K ) Number of downloads: 192

EDIT: Uploaded third version - renamed song to "Tranquilibrium" and changed small details, no big change.
Attached File  Tranquilibrium.gp5 ( 13.8K ) Number of downloads: 185

EDIT: Uploaded fourth version (2) - added lead, a transition in E major (diminished) to A minor. Working on spooky harmony.
Attached File  Tranquilibrium_2.gp5 ( 16.46K ) Number of downloads: 185

EDIT: Uploaded fifth version (3) - added 8 bars alternating between Am and E (to create a spooky effect) and changed harmony and bass accordingly. Going to add lead.
Attached File  Tranquilibrium_3.gp5 ( 17.29K ) Number of downloads: 195

EDIT: Uploaded sixth version (4) - added 16 bars with a Dm-Am-F-E chord progression, bass and strings. Will add lead and harmonies.
Attached File  Tranquilibrium_4.gp5 ( 22.04K ) Number of downloads: 185

EDIT: Uploaded seventh version (5) - made the harmonies unite faster due to major complaints from Sollesnes.
Attached File  Tranquilibrium_5.gp5 ( 20.7K ) Number of downloads: 260

Hum..When I open both, there's no notes, just the song title, instruments and what not...

OK, for me it works fine when I download them. The first instrument doesn't have anything written yet though... ?

Anyway I'll upload a new take now.

sounds good so far Alex, well composed. I'm not much of a fan of the RSE in GP but I can imagine it with some good VST's and actual instruments. Look forward to hearing the final..

My GP doesn't sound in this computer, but it does on the laptop. I use a Presonus Audiobox.

Do any of you guys have had the same prob?

That happened to me at some stage. I reinstalled the software, but in the end I think it was my Audio settings on the PC... xD Anyway, restarting PC or reinstalling shouldn't hurt... smile.gif
