Formal musical education is still mostly classical/jazz oriented. Even if you are player that is in pursuit of another musical form, there are many things to learn in these schools. Did you go in such a school, and if you did, what are the most important things that you learned/remembered?

I learnt mostly from Private teachers... However I went to a Conservatory for 2 years and also studied Music Language at the University for the "Sound & Recording Career". At music schools the programs are clearer but it's usually a bit slow. With private teachers you learn faster but you need to find a good one.
