Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Legato Lesson by Muris Varajic

Hello GMC I began this lesson since June 2015 - Today that makes 1 year which I practise, I progressed in the technique of the legato thanks to the advice of Gab and Ben. I still have some work, but I shall like learning an other one. Which lesson do you recomand for me?

Hej there!

Had to review a few times but...still haven't found anything critical. I can easily spot a lot of good things here:
- clean, noise free execution (0:39 is just a weird exception) smile.gif
- perfect left hand shaping
- even tone of legato notes

Your timing is good in most of those runs. I've spotted just a few places where it goes off...but only a little. Congratulations on the profit of your hard work smile.gif

Hi mate,

As I've already commented at the mentoring thread, you are doing a killer job at GMC and this take shows it. There are not relevant issues to work on this one. You could improve a bit timing but it's not something notorious. Your legato technique is consistent and clean.

Congrats on your fantastic work! Keep going! The sky is your limit. smile.gif

MisterM this is sounding really good. There are only some very minor moments of a loss of coordination between the pick and fingers but it's nothing to worry about. The more you do of this technique, the better you will get. It's sounding very smooth and it flows very well.

Not only that, but you maintain the sustain as well - good choice of tone also helps!

Well done, keep it up. As you probably know, I've got a short legato series but you may be a better judge of how advanced / fast you feel equipped to go with it. Maybe try something from part 3 and upwards of the series. smile.gif
