Welcome back!

I think that this take is starting to sound pretty solid and you have learned the piece well! The lead section is played clean and in good timing, but the first section - the one up to 0:12, could be a little bit cleaner and more precise. It seems that you have maybe a bit too much gain in the tone and because of this, the playing seems muddy. Then, between 0:12 and 0:26 the timing is a bit loose - by that, I mean that you are not in perfect synch with the backing track.

I think that slowing the piece down and practicing with a tone that has less gain, over the slower backing tracks while focusing on being in perfect synch and being as defined as possible with the riffs will surely take this piece to the next level.

Hi Coffeeman! Great to see a new REC take from you here! Welcome back!

This take is good and there are just little things to polish that I think will have a good impact in the overall sound. The riffs that alternate open 6th string with notes from the 5th string are not clear and I suspect that there are 2 possible reasons for this:

- You are not muting the 6th string enough to let the 5th string notes sound. The sound of the 6th string should disappear to let the other string sound clear.

- You are muting 5th string too much. If you pay attention to the original lesson, you will notice that I'm not muting the 5th string to make this riffs sound.

Besides this, the melodic sections could be a bit polished, because there are some little timing issues, and also some parts that aren't totally clean. Just keep on playing it focusing on this two things and you'll master the sections soon.

I agree with my two comrades here. You need to work on clarity between muted and non muted notes.

Let me draw your attention to the last riff section, starting at 1:00..

What you need to do here is palm mute the notes that occur on the low E string but do not palm mute the notes that occur on the A string.

You are also hitting notes on the A string more times than they should be hit, instead of alternating back to the E string. So be careful of this section. Slow it down and concentrate on making sure you're 1. Hitting the right strings and 2. Using palm muting on the low E string only.
