I just formed a new band called Widow's Prayer, It would be greatly appreciated by all of us if someone would please create a band logo for us. I don't have any programs on my computer that could possibly make one. We are a heavy metal/thrash metal band Thank you!

Nice Skenny..
Although I have to say that photoshop really isn't the program I'd use to create a logo..
Since you cannot alter the size and other things as easily as in Illustrator for example smile.gif
Imo a logo should be vector-graphics so you can use it on album covers, flyers, posters, sails (haha) and whatever you want without remaking it in different sizes smile.gif

Was that understandable? unsure.gif

if your operating system is OS X, you can download a free program called Gimp. Pretty similar from Photoshop. I think it also works for other operating system like Windows and Linux so try it.

ok , I downloaded gimp, and It sucks. I tired to upload a square image, so I could put it behide the text. But I couldn;t delete the text's background, or upload the background fully. It would only put in a small rectangle instead of the whole square. Does anyone know how to take off a background for text, and upload another full square image? If not, is there any better free photoshop style thing I can download for free?

Thanks guys. smile.gif I actually agree with Paal that an Illustrator would be much better in this situation. Just trying to throw some ideas your way g-forcelover. Hope all goes well with the band! smile.gif

Nevermind, changed my mind.

Couldn't find a font I liked, but those two seemed OK.

I slept on it and tried again. More metal this time. Still vector graphics.
