Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi friend!! This is a very good choice for you!

The technique is going well, but you need to be sure to focus your left hand movement on your wrist. That's the main secret to play bending and vibrato.

I always like sharing this video to my students when covering vibrato and bending. Joe is the king of bends! Check out the first exercise and notice how he moves his left hand:

The next step now is to gain more strength and be able to do the movement more regular and controlled.

When working on bending and vibrato, I usually recommend to dedicate some time to play along with the instructor to emulate the techniques and some time to play alone with the backing. This is the best method to get the most of your time.

Ok mate, congrats on your first REC take! Keep on the hard work!

Very nice mate!

You display good pitch control here, which is often the biggest hurdle for people!

Gab is spot on: If you can combine a movement generated by you wrist/arm, with your sense of pitch - you will have a lethal weapon at your disposal. You will be chopping heads with your bends 👌

Your tone is organic and sounds great to me - however your overall recording technique slightly drags the impression down.

In spite of this - I think this is a very musical/enjoyable take. You get an 8 from me!

Hey there!

Good impression from the first sight is your discipline and constant focus, but...not tension. You doesn't seem tensed and i hope you don't feel like.

As guys already pointed - you have a good sense of pitch. Your vibrated bends are just fine and pleasant. Great job on this field.

You need to give some attention to your vibrato - it is not happening with a correct muscles involved (wrist instead of fingers). Try to pull down instead of pushing - everytime it's possible (besides E1 naturally)

Keep up the good work
