Final Fantasy Tactics (PSX) - Absolutely Amazing 2. Final Fantasy VII (PSX) 3. Final Fantasy VI (SNES) 4. Final Fantasy V (SNES) 5. Final Fantasy XII (PS2) 6. Final Fantasy IV (SNES) 7. Final Fantasy I (NES) 8. Final Fantasy X (PS2) 9. Final Fantasy II (NES) 10. Final Fantasy IX (PSX) 11. Final Fantasy VIII (PSX) - Absolute Arse My list. I haven't played XI. XII 8 had the best story by miles and wasn't a happy ending. The characters developed much moreso IMO than they did in any other system. The Aeon system and draw system really let you customize your characters how you saw fit, which I really liked. IX was trash, I wasn't a fan of the style it was carried out in, and just seemed kind of blah. Never bothered replaying it. VII was ok, takes about 14 hours to get going though. Tactics is hands down the best. The combat is FUN, the job system is great. XII's story was tough for me to get into. It got too tedious, but my disdain for J-RPGs is creeping up on me. And if you draw this from it, Squall isnt forgotten because he is with Rinoa at the end. My conclusion is that this is a celebration party for the success of defeating Ultimecia. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to go something like: FF3/6 ff7 ff5 (cecil) ff1 ff2 ff9 ff8 and I didn't like 10 so I haven't yet played any of the games since. I don't have a playstation anymore either.
