Here is my latest take on Muris's Canon in D. I am still working on the alternate picking and hybrid picking parts. My goal for the next year is to really get my picking chops together. Not quite full speed but getting closer!!Any comments good or bad are appreciated. Thanks.

That was very good take Monte, bravo!!! smile.gif

Just a few quick thoughts from me tho.
0:15 - I would just LOVE to see you playing it with 2 tapping fingers.
0:28 - This legato lick was played perfectly! Now just try it with hybrid, just in case.
0:30 - You play this part over F# more complex than it is actually!!
0:55 - This A sweep arpeggio could be a bit more accurate not that was good nonetheless.
0:58 - I really liked this legato version, sounds very smooth. As before, try with alternate just in case.
Ending was great, fully individual so I have nothing to add there.

Perhaps I'm pain in the a** saying all that above
but it would be shame not to push you even more
since you're doing amazing job so far, thumbs up!! smile.gif

Thanks for the input Muris. I am definitely still trying to clean this up.

0:15 - I would just LOVE to see you playing it with 2 tapping fingers.
I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON IT WITH 2 FINGERS, JUST NOT VERY CLEAN YET, BUT I'LL GET IT!!

0:28 - This legato lick was played perfectly! Now just try it with hybrid, just in case.
I AM PRACTICING THIS WITH HYBRID AS WELL. I HAVE NEVER TRIED ANY HYBRID UNTIL I SAW YOUR LESSONS. I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON IT AND HAVE BEEN ADAPTING IT TO SOME LICKS OF MY OWN. JUST NOT THERE WITH ACCURACTY YET.

0:30 - You play this part over F# more complex than it is actually!!
THIS IS A TAPPING LICK I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD WAY TO PRACTICE IT BY THROWING IT IN HERE!! MUCH MORE FUN THAT JUST PLAYING IT TO A METRONOME, LOL!!

0:55 - This A sweep arpeggio could be a bit more accurate not that was good nonetheless.
I AM WORKING ON CLEANING THIS UP. THIS IS THE HARDEST LICK FOR ME SO I SHALL KEEP WORKING ON IT UNTIL IT IS CLEAN!!

0:58 - I really liked this legato version, sounds very smooth. As before, try with alternate just in case.
THIS IS LEGATO BECAUSE MY PICKING BLOWS!! THAT IS MY GOAL FOR THE NEXT YEAR, TO REALLY GET MY PICKING TOGETHER!!

Ending was great, fully individual so I have nothing to add there.
THANKS!! THIS IS JUST ME NOT BEING ABLE TO HYBRID PICK CLEAN YET!!
