Might be pickups then,who knows Also, if you use the Piezo pickup with distortion, I will agree that is metalic. Sound great with acoustic clean setting though. |

Piezo is definitely not the kind of thing to use when doing any kind of playing besides clean acoustic and strumming work.
As for graphite necks, it's too bad I don't get the chance to try one. I would like to hear how it sounds on the same setup I'm using my guitar. I have a maple/satin finish, so getting around the neck is fast and precise, and even without that, it is a matter of habit and practice, but sound is something different.
