Hi there everyone,

I´ve looked a couple of pages down and didn´t see a thread like this. Basicly any other forum has a show your "insert what forum´s about here" thread, so why shouldn´t we? Unless it´s against the rules and i don´t know ph34r.gif

Pictures are prefered of course, if you don´t have any it takes about 5 minutes to take some and upload, so don´t be lazy now ye hear?

I´l start smile.gif

Here is my current rig, pretty simple system but im quite happy with it

ESP Horizon FR II See Thru Black Aqua

Engl Powerball + Framus 4x12 (v30) + Mxr Carbon Copy, Mxr Zakk Wylde Overdrive + EVH Wah

Close Up Shot of the Pedals

Soon i´l be getting the Schecter Jeff Loomis model so more pics to come when it arrives!

Bring out your guns! wink.gif

Wow. you got loads of guitars Marcus tongue.gif Is that black and white stratocaster with maple fretboard an ESP? Kinda looks like it says ESP on the headstock! If it is, how does it play?

Surprisingly enough the powerball can achieve various tones, and the mxr helps with the many tones i can get.

I don´t think i have any clean recordings of the amp, but all the guitar sounds on my myspace were done with the engl powerball and the ESP

www.myspace.com/danielrodrigues

I can get that dirty andy timons-like tone if i put my clean channel on and the zakk wylde pedal with gain at about half.
Here´s a small clip ("please totally ignore the drums, they are not going to be that way, at least the "faster part") it´s the clip called "slow"

On the myspace you have the heavy distorted stuff, but no solos i think
i have this video on myspace you can hear the tone well but i´m using my brother´s k-7 and not the ESP

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVDois549aY Watch in HD, it´s much cooler

Also i have these 2 clips from 2 different collabs. One of the tones is more fusion-like and the other is a bit more modern metal
The fusion like is the "Swingish Rock"
The more modern sounding is the "Drop D Solo" that i made for Joe Kataldo´s collab!

I really love the powerball, and since i´m a believer of the "If it ain´t broken dont fix it" religion i´ll be keeping this amp for a loong time smile.gif

Cheers and hope you like the tones (and the songs also haha tongue.gif)

I always have myspace remember me how crappy theyre sound is, so i´ll upload a really good quality version of the first song so you can hear the guitars really well and also the song in general. It´s "Violin Madness" clip

Yes, it's an ESP Vintage Plus "distressed". I put two Duncan Hotrails on it - so it's really loud! I love the XJ frets, and it plays really good biggrin.gif However.. compared to a real Fender Strat in that price range I can't say it's all that good unsure.gif

I have that same guitar. I also don't own an amp. It's just easier to lug a POD around and plug into the PA.

I´ve had a "crush" on ESP Strato guitars since i saw Takayoshi Ohmura playing his signature models, and since i really i don´t like fender that much but love ESP i thought i´d eventually try one! That Jackson V kinda reminds me of Kai Hansen´s ESP, the guy from Gamma Ray tongue.gif

"COPIED FROM ANOTHER THREAD"

My very first guitar was a Epiphone Les Paul Standard, which I upgraded with some very good Seymour Duncan SH6 and SH2 Pickups.

My second guitar was this one. The recognizable JEM.

My 2 acoustic purchases (I actually have 3, but I have no photo of my Martin.)
I bought the Ibanez first, a AW40-something.

and later on I was hungry for a 12-string. This one is a Fender CD160.

I then found a odd looking strat in my local shop, and I just had to have it. Love it or hate it. But I adore it!

Then my hunt for Gibsons began smile.gif
First out was the Reissue VOS model. It's a Custom shop LP Standard R8 in Bourbon burst.

I then found a faded Les Paul in tobacco burst, with a 60's neck.

My latest addition is this Classic Antique Model in Vintage Sunburst finish.

All this plays through a Hughes & Kettner Switchblade amp with a 2*12's Cab.
