GMC Forum _ Introduce Yourself ! _ Late Introduction

Hello everyone my name is John Van Grouw. I have been a member at gmc since Mar 2008, but have not yet made an introduction thread so I figured that it would be nice to do one . I have learned so much from this site and recommend to people I know all the time. I spend a lot of time reading the forums and plan to participate more often. Six posts in a year is not a good ratio .

I am a senior in college and will be graduating in about a month. I have played guitar seriously for almost a year and a half. I spend about three hours a day practicing. The first half I work on Lessons from Luca Turilli's Neoclassical Revelation program, and the second I work on lessons from this site. I am mostly into power/symphonic/melodic death, and neoclassical metal. Besides playing music and going to shows, I enjoy watching and sometimes training in mixed martial arts.
